TrackMan – With the new TrackMan 4, a new golf radar standard is born

September 2, 2015 – The introduction of TrackMan 4 is the culmination of a three-year journey, which began as an initiative to design and engineer the most powerful and accurate TrackMan ever built. The outcome is Dual Radar Technology – a radical transformation in the way radar technology is applied in golf today, using two radars instead of one to obtain maximum data quality and increased volumes of accurate data pick up rates. In addition, this new standard will also lead to important discoveries of new, powerful data points.

“It has taken years of research and development to bring dual radar technology to life, but we are extremely excited about what we have been able to accomplish. TrackMan 4 with its dual radar technology will prove to be another significant milestone in the evolution of golf instruction, coaching, fitting, and entertainment,” says Fredrik Tuxen, CTO and Co-Founder.

One ultra high frequency radar tracks everything the club does, before, during, and after impact – from Club Path and Face Angle to Spin Loft and Attack Angle. The other high frequency radar tracks the ball – from launch to landing and everything in between, including Spin Rate and Curvature.

Unmatched data quality at your fingertips

The Dual Radar Technology enables even more data to be captured, in particular at the moment of impact, where the quality data is significantly superior as compared to Single Radar Technology.

This provides the perfect foundation for analysis and diagnosis, where conclusive data is delivered in an easy-to-understand format, empowering professionals to excel in their training routines.

The TrackMan 3e, which has dominated the market for years, remains part of the TrackMan product portfolio. Now positioned at lower price point, this Single Radar Technology product will be accessible to a wider audience of golf professionals.
